I’m a self-taught marketer who grew my own websites to over a million visits a year — through SEO, content strategy, and a lot of trial and error. Five years of writing for search, now applying everything hands-on with a real client. Looking to bring that into an agency.

Work
What I’ve actually done.
A private therapist had an online presence that wasn’t working — an amateurish site with no clear audience focus, weak copy, and no strategy for getting found. I rebuilt everything: brand, site, copy, and a paid acquisition plan. This is end-to-end marketing ownership on a real business.
The existing site was homemade and looked it. There was no consistent brand identity, the copy wasn’t written with any particular audience in mind, and there was nothing guiding a visitor toward making an enquiry. For a therapist, where trust is everything, this was a significant barrier.
New brand identity — colours, typography, visual language. Complete rewrite of all copy, tailored to the people most likely to be looking for therapy. Proper information hierarchy and CTAs throughout. A site structure designed to convert a hesitant visitor into an enquiry, not just inform them.
With no social media presence (the client has principled objections to social platforms and their effect on mental health), Google Ads is the primary acquisition channel. I’m building and managing the campaign to target people actively searching for therapy in the local area — intent-led, focused, and measurable.
Built from scratch with no budget, no team, and no brief from anyone but me. Atletifo covers pro wrestling news and features, and at its peak attracted over a million visitors in a single year — driven by a combination of organic search and a deliberate Reddit strategy that put content in front of exactly the right communities. Every article, every SEO call, every post — mine. It’s the clearest example of what I can do when left to get on with it.
Reddit Dual channel growth
Five years writing for search — covering sport, entertainment, and beyond. Employed at GRV Media, and freelance for some of the bigger names in sports publishing. I know how to write for an audience and for Google at the same time, how to spot a content gap, and how to turn a brief into something people actually read.
About
The slightly longer version.
BA in Media and Communications. Currently studying for my CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing, expected completion August 2025.
I came to marketing sideways — through writing, then through obsessively trying to get people to actually read what I’d written. Running Atletifo taught me more about SEO and content strategy than any course could, because the feedback was immediate and the stakes were real.
Five years of writing for publishers sharpened the craft side: working to briefs, hitting volume, understanding what ranks and why. Now I’m applying all of it to a real client — handling brand, copy, site, and paid search for a therapy practice from scratch.
I’m looking for a junior or executive role at an agency where I can keep learning fast, contribute from day one, and eventually grow into something more senior. I work best when I’m trusted to get on with it.
